Base Doodle Cowl is the perfect first Doodle project, this simple shape can be used for building a scene or simply stacking your favorite charts together!

Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. use modular patterns & whimsical colorwork motifs to inspire makers to design and knit their perfect project in an easy to follow structure.

Now that you’ve got your pattern shape, choose and arrange your Doodle charts and yarn colors. Then, just follow the instructions to create your very own custom project.

3 EASY STEPS TO MAKE YOUR COWL:
1. Work Lower Ribbing
2. Design & Knit your Colorwork
3. Work Upper Ribbing

SIZES
Circumference: 16, 20 (24, 28, 32) in 40, 50 (60, 70, 80) cm 
Height: 8, 10 (12, 12, 14) in 20, 25 (25, 30, 35) cm

YARN
Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn. Sample uses 100% Superwash Merino DK by Moonglow Yarn Co., 115g 250 yards 228 m.
Approximate Yardage for Colorwork:
200, 300 (430, 500, 675) yards
183, 274 (393, 457, 617) meters

NEEDLES
US 5 / 3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
One size smaller for ribbing (optional)
16 or 24 in 40 or 60 cm circular needles based on size

GAUGE
24 sts & 24 rnds = 4 in 10 cm in colorwork

NOTIONS
Stitch Markers (one in different color)
Tapestry Needle

SPECIAL TECHNIQUES
Stranded colorwork in the round, ribbing
