DESCRIPTION

For the first part of the adventure, there will be 3 granny square designs to choose from.  You can try each one or stick with your favorite design.  The second part of the adventure is what you decide to make with your granny squares.  You can choose a tank top or a tote bag!

MATERIALS NEEDED

Either a DK or worsted weight yarn will work for your project.  If you use a dk weight yarn, you will need either a US G or H hook.  If you use a worsted weight yarn, either a US I or J hook.

Tote Bag

• A minimum of 14 squares (at least 275 yards total). More if you would like a larger tote.

Tank Top

• A minimum of 37 squares (at least 700 yards total).
• Anaissia Granny Square Crop Top by Lakshmi Ravi Narayan (free).

SKILLS LEARNED

• Reading crochet directions
  

• Attaching granny squares

SKILLS NEEDED

You should be comfortable with single and double crochet.

About the teacher:
When Sharilyn was a child, her grandmother taught her how to knit and her mother taught her how to crochet and she hasn't stopped since. Sharilyn Ross has taught knitting and crochet classes for 10 years in the Rochester area and is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for the fiber arts with you!

1. Our classes can sell out quickly. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so we can fill your spot with someone from the waiting list. Refunds will not be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the first class. 

2. If fewer than 3 people sign up for any given class, we reserve the right to cancel the class altogether. In this event, you will be notified & issued a full refund.
